Black Friday is 36 days away, and more of your customers will start their holiday shopping by asking AI tools like ChatGPT.

In July 2024, 4.5% of U.S. desktop shopping journeys visited an AI tool before a site where the shopper could buy. By June 2026, it was 11.4%. Separately, Adobe forecasts that clicks from AI tools to U.S. retail sites will rise 130% over last holiday season.
So we built something to help you get ready.
Our Holiday ChatGPT Check-In takes about ten minutes. Type in what you sell, and you'll get five prompts to ask ChatGPT about your own business, plus what to look for in each answer.
Here's why it's worth ten minutes. When a shopper asks ChatGPT for a recommendation, it hands back a short list. If you're not on it, you won't know. ChatGPT just names someone else.
We asked ChatGPT 12 shopping questions, five times each. The brands it kept picking had one thing in common: it could find a reason that matched the shopper's own words. When we asked for a dog bed for "an 80 lb lab that chews," ChatGPT recommended K9 Ballistics for its aluminum frame and heavy-duty ballistic fabric, citing the brand's own website.

Better to find out now, while there's time to fix it, than in the second week of December.
